Stitching Styles


The creative genius and brilliance of Indian culture has out shown all the other cultures of the world. This is evident in the vast amalgamation of various schools of art that have taken birth here. One such art form has been the art of adorning a fabric using a needle and colorful threads, commonly known as embroidery.

Embroidery employs needle work in a horde of different styles to produce some of the most fascinating and spellbinding patterns. The threads used for stitching depends on the type of fabrics used. Some common ones are as follows:
